Gathering together information on a family tree is a daunting task!

Here I have put together all information I have on anyone related to the family.  The 
main source for the Allen family was my uncle Padraig Allen.  When he died recently I 
decided to put all of the information he had published into a structured format - 
hence this tree.  His son Gerard has continued the tradition and you can find a link 
to his website in the links area on the right.

Other family information has been gathered from everybody at home and all that visited 
me from home or abroad in the last year or two.  Thanks to everyone that helped. 
Tracing the family tree can be quite addictive!

Please contact me with any updates, corrections, photos, additions, or anything else  
relevant that you have.  I would really appreciate it and I will keep this tree 
updated on a regular basis.
